I send you the recommendation of a homestay on receipt of your complete inquiry. We have lived there 2009 four weeks long and it is the cheapest to my knowledge on the island. The owners are locals who cannot pick you up at Manado. Because of this I give you a detailed description how you reach most cheaply there.
